NEPALESE-MADE BOOKS

Several years ago (I can't recall exactly but perhaps about 2005), I walked into a "fair trade" retail store and discovered blank mini journals bound in Nepal. They were covered by Nepalese fabric and sized at about 1.75" x 1.75". to 2" x 2" (no two are exactly alike). They look like these, on a bookshelf and a single one:



Because they were blank, I used them to spearhead several Tiny Books projects. One was a Meritage Press fundraiser for Heifer International. In another series, I offered them to poets and writers and they scribbled on it and returned the results to me.

I no longer have most of the books from these efforts, but these are the ones I have (list in progress):
