WHAT A FIND! FIRST NON-ENGLISH LITTLE LITTLE GOLDEN:

Yindee is jarig "by" Sieneke de Rooij and Caroline Ellerbeck in Dutch (Rubinstein, Netherlands, 2006). Size: 2.5" x 2-7/8". English translation: Yindee's Birthday. Here's a translation from the inside flap (translated by Deeply):

A beautiful summer day in Artis. Elephant Yindee is waiting outside for her friend Noa. Because it's Yindee's birthday! She'll be 1 year old. Also all the animals bring their good wishes. But some wishes are a bit strange... 'The polar bear says: I wish you could have a warm white coat'. That makes Yindee laugh. Elephants don't have fur!

Provenance: This book was a gift from Marisela Rodriguez after she saw my post on my Miniature Book Library in Facebook's "Best Group"--"Weird Secondhand Finds That Just Needs To Be Shared." When asked how she got the book, Marisela, who lives in Oregon, said she got it in a toy/kids clothes swap in 2019. The Library is grateful to her.
